AIS & CCTV for Port Terminals
Supply, Installation & Liaison Services for AIS at Special Terminals (Tersus/TUKS) and Jetties in Kalimantan
Supply, installation, and I-Motion integration of AIS & CCTV for special terminals (Tersus/TUKS) and jetties in Kalimantan — including liaison with the Navigation District office.

Why your terminal needs integrated AIS
Through SE-DJPL Number 48 of 2024, the Directorate General of Sea Transportation mandates specific standards for AIS Receivers and CCTV cameras at the docks of Special Terminals (Tersus) and Terminals for Own Use (TUKS). The data must be connected to I-Motion, the vessel traffic monitoring system of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation.
In practice, fully integrated AIS linked to I-Motion has also become a mandatory requirement during the renewal of terminal operation permits. The challenge is that this work involves multiple parties: device suppliers, pole and cable technicians, internet providers, and agency liaison. When handled separately, a delay in one area stalls the entire process, while permit validity terus runs out.
One team from survey to live data on I-Motion
- Site survey — determining pole spots, camera coverage of the dock and fairways, cable paths, power supply, and internet availability.
- Design & device procurement complying with SE-DJPL 48/2024 specifications: AIS base station/receiver, marine VHF and GPS antennas, long-range PTZ cameras, NVR, and UPS.
- Installation — antenna poles and mounting, grounding and lightning protection, data and power cables, cameras, and recorders.
- Network configuration — Public IP and AIS ports, camera RTSP links, and connection to the monitoring room.
- Liaison services with the Navigation District (Distrik Navigasi) and output reporting to local KSOP/UPP, until AIS data and camera feeds go live on I-Motion.
- Functional testing, operator training, and technical documentation as complete compliance requirements for the Ministry of Transportation.
Equipment we typically install
- AIS base station / receiver (e.g., Matsutec) with marine VHF antenna and GPS antenna
- Long-range PTZ and fixed cameras (Hikvision, Dahua) for docks and river fairways
- NVR with a minimum recording capacity of 14 days
- UPS, stabilizers, surge arresters, plus grounding and lightning protection for open dock areas
- Supporting network: PoE switches, data cables, and internet connections tailored to site conditions
Trusted by coal terminals across three provinces
Throughout 2026, we completed AIS and camera installations across six mining and coal terminal locations in South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, and East Kalimantan — including facilities under Harum Energy Group, PT Patria Maritim Perkasa (Astra Group), and PT Tapin Coal Terminal. Detailed project portfolios are available below.

AIS and Camera Installation
Installation of an AIS (Automatic Identification System) and surveillance cameras at the PT Bumi Karunia Pertiwi (Harum Energy Group) terminal/jetty in Gunung Timang, North Barito. The AIS primarily monitors vessel identity, position and movement (tugboats & barges) in real time along the Barito River, complemented by cameras for visual monitoring of the jetty area. Both systems are mandatory to meet port owner/operator requirements under the Indonesian Minister of Transportation Regulation.

Who is required to install AIS and CCTV integrated with I-Motion?
SE-DJPL Number 48 of 2024 is intended for operators of Special Terminals (Tersus) and Terminals for Own Use (TUKS). Local KSOP or UPP offices socialize this regulation and receive AIS and CCTV output reports from terminals.
Does Connect assist with agency liaison?
Yes. Aside from procurement and installation, we assist with liaison to the Navigation District and reporting outputs (Public IP + AIS port and camera RTSP link) to KSOP/UPP until data appears on I-Motion.
How long does the installation take?
On-site installation can be completed in a matter of days — for instance, 2 days at PT Bumi Karunia Pertiwi's jetty. Total timeframe depends on device availability, site internet readiness, and administrative processing, so it is best to start well before your terminal's operating permit expires.
Can existing AIS or camera equipment be reused?
We can inspect them during the site survey. If the specifications comply with SE-DJPL 48/2024 and outputs can be properly configured, existing equipment can be retained to save costs.
Do you serve locations outside South Kalimantan?
Yes. Our AIS projects are distributed across South Kalimantan (Tapin, Barito Kuala), Central Kalimantan (North Barito), and East Kalimantan (East Kutai, Kutai Kartanegara).
