Solar-Powered Mobile Skid Surveillance for Mining Exploration Site
Installation of a skid-mounted (relocatable) surveillance unit to monitor an exploration site with no grid power or wired network. The unit runs entirely on solar power, connects via Starlink, and uses Ruijie SD-WAN to keep the live view at head office smooth and uninterrupted. The skid can be moved easily as the work area shifts.
Scope of work
- Site survey and selection of monitoring points across the exploration area
- Assembly of a portable skid unit with camera pole and outdoor panel box
- Installation of PTZ and fixed cameras on the pole arms
- Solar power system installation (panels, charge controller, batteries) for 24/7 operation
- Starlink satellite internet integration
- Ruijie SD-WAN configuration for stable live view at head office
- Lightning arrester and grounding installation
- Testing, commissioning, and handover to the site team
